Your Neighborhood Library
The North Conway Library is a privately funded library that is free and open to the public.
We don't receive any regular funding from the town of Conway, the State of NH, or the federal government; therefore we depend on your donations, our corporate sponsors and our fundraising programs!
The library is large enough to offer its patrons a broad selection, and small enough to respond to the reading needs and preferences of its users.
Library Cards:
Local permanent residents and property owners get a free library card. Please bring proof of residency or a tax bill.
Non-resident cards are available for $20 per year per family.
We offer:
The Usual:
Books, books on tape and CD, movies on DVD & VHS, magazines, board games, puzzles, reference collection, local history & genealogy collection
Free public Internet access on public computers and a free unsecured Wi-Fi hotspot
The Extras:
Downloadable Audiobooks and eBooks 24/7
E-readers to check out for 2 weeks (one Amazon Kindle and one B&N NOOK)
Kill-A-Watt Energy Meter for loan
Story time for children in the summer
Bike for Books- a mountain bike tour of the Mt. Washington Valley on Columbus Day weekend (fall foliage!)
a huge annual Book and Yard Sale on the second weekend of July
