Log-in Changes at OverDrive:
With our new online card catalog "Apollo," which is directly linked to OverDrive NH, come changes to the log-in process of our downloadable books program:
From now on, you need you log in with your library card number (without the 4448 prefix!) and the phone number that is attached to your library account. The phone number serves as a password so that nobody else can use your account. You can enter the phone number with dashes or without and if it has a 603 area code, you do not need to enter that.
Your library card needs to be active (not expired) and in good standing (no significant overdues or fines).
If your card has expired or you need to update your contact information, please download our update form, print it, fill it out and drop it off at the library or mail it to us at: NCPL, PO Box 409, No. Conway, NH 03860. Thank you!
1) Downloadable Audiobooks!
Free and easy to use
The North Conway Library offers downloadable audiobooks for anyone with a current North Conway Public Library card.
There are thousands of titles available for tablets, smart phones, iPods, iPads, computers/laptops, MP3-Players, and iPhones!
How does it work? It’s easy! Make sure that your library card is valid (not expired) and that your account is in good standing (no significant overdues or fines).
Install the free app or media software (“Overdrive Media Console”) that you will need to download audios, and install a security update to the Windows Media Player if necessary.
Browse the collection and check out the audiobooks you wish. Up to three audiobooks may be checked out at any time and they will be checked back in automatically at the end of the loan period.
The loan period for audiobooks is 7 or 14 days and a title may be downloaded three times during that period.
Download the titles onto your computer, your smart phone, table, iPod, iPad, or to a compatible MP3-player. Some titles (not all) can be burned to a CD to listen to in the car or on any standard CD player.
The collection is ever growing and changing frequently. Browse here to select and download your audios. Click here and follow the instructions if you use this service for the first time.
